Vegetable Crate

I've been searching high and low for something to store my produce in. I saw some little vegetable crates at Michaels. But of course I can't just buy what's already done.   I want to do it myself. So here is what I ended up with after a few coats of paint and some Decoupage.

I made each side different so I can flip it around in my cupboard according to whichever I buy for the week.

Sweater Stockings

I got this idea out of a magazine.  Super cute.  Sweaters at the thrift store $3!  The pattern was on the internet.  Maybe after 7 I will be a pro.  Save time with turtle necks!

You must line them though to keep the goodies from stretching them out.

Living Room Makeover

Blue and Brown based on my favorite coffee mug.  I was scared at first but the chocolate glaze toned it down a lot.  Them we added the distressed stencil.  A few accents of red made it rich!  Not sure about the trim though.  May have to rethink that one!

Holly Wreath

I cut holly branches, pulled a wire hanger into a circle and used floral wire to attach the branches. So far the wreath still looks fresh after a week.  Painful though!  Must use gloves next time!
